About Dr. Mahaboob Vali Shaik
Dr. Mahaboob Vali Shaik is an Indian social worker, education promoter, and Army veteran from Thummala Cheruvu, Tarlupadu Mandal, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. Currently serving as the Andhra Pradesh State President in Civil Public Welfare and Yogdhaanm Shara Smiti, his life is a journey of dedication, discipline, and deep compassion for humanity.
Born in a humble middle-class family, he learned the value of hard work and education from his parents, who struggled to support his studies. From an early age, he believed that education can transform not only an individual but an entire society. That vision became the foundation of his lifelong mission to empower children, promote civic welfare, and inspire social change.
Early Life & Education
Dr. Mahaboob Vali Shaik completed his schooling at Zilla Parishad High School, Thummala Cheruvu, where his teachers often described him as sincere, curious, and disciplined. He later joined Vignyana Bharathi Junior College for his intermediate studies, followed by S.K. University where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Gen).
Even after joining the Indian Army in 2004, his hunger for knowledge did not stop. While serving the nation, he continued his education and went on to earn his Master of Arts (M.A. History) from Acharya Nagarjuna University. His belief that “learning never stops” made him a lifelong student and an inspiration for the youth who think education ends after college.
Service in the Indian Army
Joining the Indian Army in 2004 was a turning point in his life. For two decades, he served the nation with courage, integrity, and discipline. His Army years built not only his strength but also his empathy. He understood the sacrifices of soldiers, the importance of teamwork, and the value of serving the motherland selflessly.
After taking voluntary retirement in 2024, he decided to dedicate his second innings entirely to social causes—especially education for underprivileged children. His journey from a soldier to a social reformer reflects a life truly devoted to service, both in uniform and beyond. For him, serving people is the truest way to serve the nation.
A Heart for Education & Humanity
Coming from a middle-class family, Dr. Mahaboob Vali Shaik knew how difficult it is for parents to pay school fees and support children’s dreams. That experience planted a dream in his heart—to help children who want to study but lack financial support.
Today, he leads multiple initiatives to provide educational aid, mentorship, and moral support to students across Andhra Pradesh and India. His mission is simple yet powerful: no child should stop studying because of poverty.
